Former FBI Agent: Bondi Has ‘Slam Dunk’ Conspiracy Case Against Obama Feds

Retired FBI Agent Urges Conspiracy Probe into Trump Investigations

A retired FBI agent and former Navy SEAL is calling on Attorney General Pam Bondi to launch a wide-ranging conspiracy investigation into current and former federal agents and prosecutors. Jonathan Gilliam alleges that officials weaponized investigations against former President Donald Trump while protecting prominent Democrats, particularly the Clintons, from similar scrutiny.

In an interview on Just the News, No Noise, Gilliam pointed to recently released documents provided to Congress by Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel. He claims these materials reveal that FBI agents were repeatedly blocked from advancing corruption probes into Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, despite substantial evidence of potential wrongdoing. At the same time, the same officials allegedly overruled career agents who raised concerns about the probable cause for the 2022 FBI search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida.

“It’s the same cast of characters every time,” Gilliam said. “We had a tremendous amount of evidence that they were trying to create evidence and falsify evidence to go after Trump. Now we see that they’re trying to stop investigations and get rid of real evidence for the purpose of protecting the Clintons.”

Gilliam described the pattern as a coordinated effort to influence elections. He suggested the actions could support criminal charges ranging from conspiracy to overthrow an election and sedition to, in more extreme interpretations, treason. He urged the Justice Department to treat the matter like a major organized crime case, comparing the alleged participants to a mafia family or drug cartel operating as a criminal enterprise.

“If this was a mafia case, and we had this clear-cut of an example of a group of people committing two or more crimes for the furtherance of their political group, this would be a slam dunk case,” Gilliam stated. He recommended appointing a “justice czar” to oversee a dedicated team of investigators focused on criminal charges against those accused of misusing law enforcement and intelligence powers.

His comments align with recent remarks by Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, who indicated there is sufficient evidence to pursue a conspiracy case for violating the civil liberties of Trump and his supporters.

The push comes as the current administration reviews past high-profile investigations. Supporters see it as essential accountability for the alleged weaponization of government institutions, while critics warn that such probes could devolve into politicized retribution.

Separately, federal prosecutors recently charged retired high-level DEA official Paul Campo and associate Robert Sensi in an undercover sting involving alleged money laundering and assistance to a Mexican cartel. The case highlights broader corruption concerns within federal law enforcement but is not directly connected to the political investigations discussed by Gilliam.
