Kerry Sheron, a 69-year-old U.S. Army veteran celebrated and criticized for transforming his home into a patriotic landmark known as the “Trump House,” is fighting for his life in intensive care following a violent assault outside his residence on Wednesday.
According to authorities, San Diego County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of an assault in progress near the intersection of East Mission Avenue and Buchanan Street, directly adjacent to Sheron’s heavily decorated property. When officers arrived, they found Sheron suffering from catastrophic injuries. A utility worker who witnessed the attack intervened, helping to restrain the suspect until law enforcement took him into custody.
