BREAKING NEWS!! ZELENSKYY REPORTEDLY KILLED IN RUSSIAN AIRSTRIKE

Russia launched a fresh wave of overnight drone and missile strikes across Ukraine, hitting multiple cities after a brief pause tied to a visit by U.S. envoys. Ukrainian officials said the attacks damaged civilian sites, including apartment blocks, warehouses, energy-related facilities, and other public buildings. Air-raid sirens sounded across several regions as air-defense units worked to intercept incoming drones and missiles.

In Kyiv, explosions were reported in several districts. Emergency crews were sent to put out fires, rescue people from damaged buildings, and treat the injured. City authorities reported fatalities and dozens of injuries as the barrage continued into the following day, with jet-powered drones still appearing after the initial missile wave. Officials elsewhere urged residents to stay in shelters while the security situation remained unstable.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described the assault as a complex mix of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, and Shahed-type drones, saying it appeared designed to maximize harm to civilian life. Ukraine’s air force reported intercepting most of the drones and cruise missiles, though ballistic weapons remain harder to stop. Kyiv again appealed to partners for more interceptors as winter approaches and energy infrastructure stays under pressure.

Alongside confirmed strikes, unverified posts circulated online claiming a Russian airstrike had hit a secure site and killed Zelenskyy, and that Ukrainian media were covering the incident. No Ukrainian government statement and no major international news organization has confirmed that claim. Zelenskyy has continued to issue public comments on the attacks and to travel abroad. Fact-checkers have previously shown similar rumors to be false, sometimes using old or unrelated footage.

Conflict reporting routinely produces rumors about high-profile figures. Until Ukrainian authorities or established independent outlets confirm an event, claims of the president’s death should be treated as unverified and not reported as fact.
